Team Belgium

Mushing Belgium vzw is the number one federation in Belgium, promoting sled dog sport in general and the use of purebred sled dogs in particular.

Every year, a few teams are selected to become part of “Team Belgium”, which represents the federation at the World Sleddog Association European & World Championships (alternated each year).

This time, 6 teams will go north to compete with more than 300 other mushers from 25 different countries. In Asarna, Sweden, from March 7th – 9th, they will aim for gold.

With double European Champion Joël Reyniers and vice-World Champion Denis Deluycker, with Tim Bosseloo and Werner Doms who have the experience and a very good team this year, and finally rookies Livina Devillers (junior) and Freddy Guillaume, both with very strong teams indeed, we are persuaded that Belgium will not participate unnoticed!
