Invitation for the FISTC European Cart Championship Austria

Dear teammembers !

Note this : Only inscriptions true the MBEL allowed.

Please, announce to us the contingent of your Musher them start, at the latest 15 th June

Herewith we want to invite you to the 5th Cart European Championship, in Reingers, lower Austria, from the 18th to the 21th. November 2010.
You can already arrive from Wednesday 17th November 2010.

These EC 2010 is the first for sprint and distance.

The distance lengths from the trail amounted from 5 – 12 km for sprint and 16 km for distance.

The Trail is demanding and goes about meadows, fields and woods from Östereich via Czechia and again back.
The BSSC-Austria organises in Reingers every year a cart race and the Musher are inspired about the Trail very much.
Reingers is a wonderful little town in lower Austria near Germany and Czech republic. www.reingers.at
The Stake Out is on an Camping Place and we can offer you a comfortable stay.
We have toillets, showers and electric for all mushers and in the near is a good restaurant,

About the Championship we can offer you to stay on place from Monday 22th. – Sunday 28. November 2010, for free training.
The price for stay is very cheap . Only € 12,– per day and team and include, water, toilette, showers and electric.

To all Musher, please came to Reingers, you will experience an unforgettable high-speed European Championship.

Sleddog European Sprint 2011 Championship of the WSA

Next year the sleddog European Sprint Championship of the WSA (World Sleddog Association) will be held in Campo Felice di Lucoli, L’AQUILA – ITALY

You will appreciate how the area offers a wonderful landscape. The conformation of the territory offers many opportunities for high speed, technical and most of all entertaining paths.

Team Belgium is back in the country from Oberwiesenthal. After the last days we are happy to be back because it was tiring for everyone. The complex situation of the stake out which was crowded .One part of the team had to move away at an other parking with some thirty other mushers
Yet we have not done badly. With a total of 255 mushers from 18 countries, the Belgium team won the ninth place in the Nation Cup. Congratulations to all mushers. A small country with only a few mushers, against countries such as Germany, Poland, France, Netherlands and other country’s with a total of 19.2 points.
1° Poland : 29 points
2 ° Czech Republic : 28.2 points
3 ° Germany : 28 points
More info on our visit will follow.
However, I which to thank de pupils of the Grundschule ADAM RIES Annaberg-Buchholz for custom the nameplate for Belgium and by two of these pupils were worn during the opening ceremony of the 2010 World WSA.

Belgian mushers Sam Deltour and Dries Jacobs made it to the finish early this morning . Sam was in at 2:03 AM
and Dries at 4:53 AM, both arriving with 10 dogs.
Congratulation to our two mushers, a great challenge!

European Championship FISTC Sprint in Donovaly, Slovakia

This Championship from the 11 - 14 february should have taken place in Taxenback in Austria, but unfortunately they could not carry this event out. We are very pleased, that once again, our friends in Donovaly could arrange this Championship with a very short notice.
A nice Race in the very Heart of Slovakia.

Only Harry Braeckmans is competing in de C2 classe.
