Every other year, the World Sleddog Association or “WSA” organises a World Championship. All purebred mushers are invited to participate. With many thousands members in over 20 countries, this event is always the highlight of the mushing season.
This year, both the Sprint (up to 20km a day) & Distance (more than 40km a day) teams will run in the same event, which makes the Swedish edition even more special. With a record-braking 350 teams expected to move north from all over the world, TEAM BELGIUM is now more than ever, determined to prove it can compete for the title.
The event is held in Asarna, in the center of Sweden, about 600km from Stockholm & 2300km from Brussels, Belgium. A World Championship is always a three day event. This edition starts on March 7th and ends on March 9th.
